Submit Your ConceptIt is important to understand that there are many great business concepts out there. Some are original; some improve upon old ideas. Many are duplicated by more than one imaginative mind thinking along a similar path. Securing funding to bring your concept to reality can be a daunting task.We have prepared the following information to guide you through the Dow Venture Capital submission process — from the information you need to prepare and submit for consideration, all the way to an online submission form. The ideas or plans set forth in your concept/business summary should be your original ideas. Dow and Dow Venture Capital take no responsibility for protecting your intellectual property rights. Except where such ideas are protected by patents, trademarks or copyrights, Dow and Dow Venture Capital are not liable for any damages whatsoever in connection with the use of the information submitted. Dow Venture Capital may receive similar plans from another party or may be working on the same or similar business within its own organization and/or with affiliate businesses. Submissions should not disclose any proprietary or confidential information. Dow does not accept any obligation of confidentiality with regard to information submitted during the initial screening process. Such an obligation would prevent Dow Venture Capital from conducting effective due diligence on your idea. If, during these subsequent communications, both you and Dow agree that it is necessary to exchange confidential information, a Confidentiality Agreement will be prepared to enable us to begin exchanging such information. Please acknowledge that you have read and understood the above statement and wish to continue with your submission.
